I continued the abstract gradient theme throughout my stationary. I wanted to create a sense of open space to represent Chicago's gigantic city. For the business card, I have two directions. One is more corporate and the other is I find is a little more fun.

Hi Alan,
ReplyDeleteWell done! I love your design. I think it's one of the best so far.
Lets starts with the business card. I like the vertical one vs the horizontal one. I also did almost the same style with having just the logo on the front and the info on the back. I think it's more professional and helps the logo stand out more. I'm not sure about the right justified type on the back of the bus card though! Did you try centering it?
The letter head, I'm not too happy with the logo on the bottom. Specially that you have a vertical logo. Is there any reason you didn't place it on top? Also the type face you have on the letterhead is kind of lost in the background. You might want to try black or place it somewhere else.
The Envelope! I'm not sure if you can have the address all the way on the other side of the envelope where usually it's the receiver's address.
Great job overall. :)
Use the vertical format business card, it echoes the vertical of your logo. I like how the design continues on the back of the card as well.
ReplyDeleteI think the color boxes on the bottom left of the letterhead over power the rest of the elements on the letterhead. It might look nicer without them all together. Maybe you could put them on the reverse side. Like how you did on the business card.

I like your stationary overall. the variation of shapes and color still unifies the stationary. But some element in the letterhead and envelop aren't working.
ReplyDelete1. The contact info in the letter head does not need the e-mail and phone numbers. It only needs the address. Because the letter head could be used for any official at the event. So Keep it simple.
2. The information is getting lost in the gradient your are using in the graphic. You should back the Font darker to give it some contrast with the graphic element. Also the graphic elements are too close to the bottom edge. You should give is some space from the bottom. The logo could be about 10 percent smaller.
3. The envelope logo doesn't have to be that large. I know you want it to the first thing a person see, But it also could be about 30 percent smaller or maybe 10 percent.
4. the address on the envelop should be left justified and the graphic also. The graphic element should be under the logo but space out so that is it at the bottom of the envelop but not too much that it is sitting at the bottom age.
I hope this is helpful.
I loved your logo a lot. I think thats the business card is working since it is vertical as well. I would like to see the same in the letter head and envelop. Also I think that you cant have the address in the right like that.
