(Clockwise) Starting with the top left. This concept is based on my paper folding graphics and is basically a flower sprouting out of the ground, but everything is made of this paper folding graphics, or maybe just some and the rest is a photo. The next image is based on the perception of an eye. Their will be cross sections of graphics that divide the eye's view of art and stuff. Next is returning to my rorschach concept but with the graphical treatment of used in my cover. Next is two arms reaching out for the new CS5 on a display window. The graphical treatment on the arm will increase as it gets closer to the window. Next are the 3 boxes with a mystical cloud of design elements merging together with each cover's cloud thing. Next are the boxes exploding of the paper folding graphics. Basically, my overall concept was to show some sort of visual explosion to symbolize the creative mind.

I would choose the first one or the explosion of color one, but don't go too crazy with the colors.
ReplyDeleteWhile the visual element explosions are interesting, I think that they have been played out. If you can create a photorealistic ad with the paper triangle hands, it would really grab the attention of the reader. Good concept.
ReplyDeleteI think the exploding boxes sound the most interesting and could really come out well. Don't we have to have some kind of copy on these? Where would that go?
ReplyDeletei am having trouble understanding the concept of most of these ads. visually your box is looking great! it is visually engaging and at the same time progressive and abstract. Definitely would like to see the other package designs.
ReplyDeleteso i think the hands are a viable solution if you use them in the context that i think you are using them in. a sort of puzzle piece, the human element of solving problems and creative intuition. so the hands act like the program which is controlled by the person... so what is it trying to create, or do you think you need something there that is being created or perhaps can you just show hands?
I like the one in the middle on the left where it's exploding. But if it's supposed to be "like" origami, maybe it could be unfolding and have the logos on the inside?
